City hall is moving

 

Due to the extensive expansion and renovation of the town hall, the municipal administration will be moving in February. Here you will find all the information that is important during and after the move.

Due to the move, the Citizens Office and Customer Service
will be closed from 7 to 10 March 2025.

During the move

The moving process will start on 17 February and will last until 10 March 2025. The departments will move to their new offices in several phases. During their moving phase, the various departments will not be available by phone for a few days. Please use e-mail to reach us. You will find the e-mail addresses in our directory.

The Citizens Office and Customer Service will remain closed due to the move from 7 to 10 March 2025.

The administration can be reached on the number 58 77 1-01. We kindly ask you to use online procedures and e-mail as much as possible.

Almost all administrative procedures can be done online or via myguichet.lu.

New address from 10 March 2025

The citizens’ office and other departments with a lot of public contact will be located in the Mandela building from 10 March 2025. The Mandela building is a two-minute walk from the current town hall.

Parking
The parking spaces at the current town hall will be removed completely. You can use the Aalt Stadhaus parking garage (rue Saint-Nicolas) or the car park on Place Nelson Mandela. Please note that during the renovation of the town hall, part of the car park will be closed for construction equipment.

The college of aldermen, the secretariat and the departments with little public contact will move to the former hospital, which is about a ten-minute walk from the current town hall.

Access to the former hospital is only possible by appointment. Please make an appointment in advance with the relevant department. You will find all our departments in the directory.
