Project Gravity: Call for lease applications

On 20 March 2023, the city of Differdange will launch the call for applications for the 46 apartments of Project Gravity to be rented. These apartments have been subsidized by the Ministry of Housing and are scheduled to be ready for occupancy in summer of 2023.

Project Gravity is an innovative residential project with two towers, one of them 65 meters high, located at the intersection of Rue Emile Mark and Boulevard Emile Krieps. The residential complex includes a total of 80 apartments and common areas with a 200m2 community room on the 14th floor as well as a large terrace on the 15th floor of Tower B.

Among the 46 apartments, 24 apartments are intended primarily for the elderly and 8 apartments are intended primarily for persons with reduced mobility (PMR).

In order to give all applicants enough time to gather the necessary documents (see list of documents to be submitted below), applications can be submitted via a link on this website only as of 20 March 2023. No waiting list will be created.

An initial selection will be made with applications submitted before 30 April 2023.

The selection of applicants and the calculation of the amount of rent will be made in accordance with the provisions of the Règlement grand-ducal modifié du 16 novembre 1998 fixant les mesures d’exécution relatives aux logements locatifs, aux aides à la pierre ainsi qu’aux immeubles cédés sur la base d’un droit d’emphytéose et d’un droit de superficie, prévus par la loi modifiée du 25 février 1979 concernant l’aide au logement.

The rent for each tenant is calculated based on the data of the selected applicants. We would like to inform you that a draft law has been introduced by the Ministry of Housing, which provides for the amendment of these regulations, including the calculation of rents. The new regulations may come into force this year.

* Apartments for Persons with Reduced Mobility (PMR) are available in all housing categories and are allocated according to the size of the household to which the person with reduced mobility belongs.

**Couple: Households with children under the age of 12 are considered couples.

***Child: Child over the age of 12 – By law, children over the age of 12 require a separate bedroom. Children under 12 are not counted. Therefore, a household with a child under the age of 12 is considered a couple.
