The City of Differdange receives the “Drëpsi” certificate of excellence in drinking water

On 28 March 2023, the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, Joëlle Welfring, awarded certificates of excellence 𝘿𝙧𝙚̈𝙥𝙨𝙞 🎖to 43 drinking water suppliers, including the City of Differdange (𝘿𝙧𝙚̈𝙥𝙨𝙞 GOLD). These certificates reward the efforts made by the communes and syndicates of communes to continuously guarantee the maintenance of water quality. 💦 The certificate is valid for 6 years.

To obtain this certificate, suppliers report in the management tool “Luxembourg Water Safety Plan” (LuxWSP), established by the Administration de la gestion de l’eau (AGE), the steps taken to identify, control and monitor the risks of degradation of water quality throughout the drinking water supply chain, from the catchment of the water to its supply to the consumer. AGE then carried out an audit of the suppliers who provided this information.
