Toad Migration

March is toad migration in Lasauvage.

The toads awaken from their hibernation and make their way to their spawning waters. Our environmental department is setting up a toad fence for the toads to walk along and then drop into trap buckets. The buckets will be brought to the other side of the road, so that the toads can continue their way to the pond.

We are looking for volunteers to help empty the buckets.
