Vël’OK: The main rules of use

As we receive more and more complaints about the use of the bikes at our Vël’OK stations, we would like to remind you of the main rules of use:

  • Minimum age: 14 years. Vël’OK bikes can be borrowed from the age of 14 if the parents sign the contract, otherwise from the age of 18.
  • Riding on the road. As it is forbidden to ride on pavements from the age of 12, you should NEVER ride a Vël’OK on pavements.
  • Maximum duration: a trip on a Vël’OK should not exceed 2 hours.
  • The Vël’OK should not be taken home. It is intended to be moved from station to station to get around the commune.
  • Riding alone. It is strictly forbidden to ride more than one bicycle. This leads to rapid wear and tear on the bikes. Bikes are a means of transport, not a toy. Please respect the equipment.
  • The bike must not be left alone anywhere. If it is stolen, the user is responsible.
  • The rules of the road must be respected.

If the rules are not respected, the user’s card may be blocked.
