Drinking water

A- A+

Drinking water must meet very strict standards set by the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 7 October 2002 on the quality of water intended for human consumption, based on a European directive. Indeed, the water distributed must be perfectly clean and healthy and must meet criteria in terms of taste, smell and appearance.

The municipality controls the quality of the water distributed to its inhabitants, even if it is supplied by a drinking water syndicate. In addition to this municipal control, the Water Management Administration carries out further controls in the communal distribution networks.

With goodwill and adapted household appliances, everyone can save water on a daily basis.
