“Gutt Geschier”: We are looking for working tools

As part of the 2024 submitted citizen projects, a tool library will be set up during the year. For this purpose, we are currently looking for working tools that are no longer needed.

The tool library was one of the projects selected for last year’s participatory citizens’ budget. It will be implemented in collaboration with the “Gutt Geschier” initiative of Ëmweltberodung Lëtzebuerg and will open in October.

The idea is to give people the opportunity to borrow tools for free, especially tools that are only used occasionally or perhaps only once. The aim is to promote the circular economy, avoid unnecessary purchases and thus unnecessary waste. The initiative also raises consumer awareness of the need to save energy and resources and to rethink their spending habits.

We are currently looking for material in good condition to implement the tool library:

  • Tools
  • Electrical appliances
  • Garden tools
  • Wallpapering and painting materials

So take a look in your cellar, garden shed or garage. If you find something that you no longer need, give it a second life for the good of the community.

You can drop off your donation at the following address from now until 30 June 2025:

“Klengt Haus”
11, Grand-rue
L-4575 Differdange
Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10am-12pm
Every Wednesday: 14-19
