Adjustment of car parking charges

There will be some changes to the municipality’s parking charges regulations. We would like to inform you of the main changes.

Long-term and covered car parks

The hourly rate for long-term car parks and the CHEM staff car park will increase from 50 to 80 cents.

The fee in covered car parks is one euro per hour and no longer progressive. Diffcard holders will benefit from a 20 % discount.

Night and weekend rates have been increased from 20 to 50 cents.

The first hour remains free in both indoor and outdoor car parks.

Subscriptions

The City is introducing new parking subscriptions in January:

• Nighttime-parking subscription (6 pm to 8 am): 40 € per month.
• Student subscription (Parc-des-Sports car park only): 60 € per month.
• Holiday subscription (Parc-des-Sports car park only/July to September): 120 € per month.

Residential parking

The first residential sticker is free, a second costs 80 € and a third 120 €.

The prices for professional parking permits (for current construction sites) are as follows:

• 1 month: 100 €.
• 3 months: 250 €.
• 6 months: 400 €.
• 12 months: 750 €.

The parking permit for vans has been increased from 500 € to 600 € per year, or 50 € per month. With this permit, you can park in the car park Hauts-Fourneaux, the Oberkorn cemetery and the car park Rue Pierre Gansen in Niederkorn, every day of the week between 6 pm and 8 am, as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
