The Diffbus is a free city bus—a first step in the realization of a mobility concept for the city of Differdange. Since June 2017, the Diffbus has been electric.
The four lines of the Diffbus make the connection between the different localities of the municipality, they enter the residential areas and pass close to many public infrastructures such as the sports centre, the nursing home, the hospital and the town hall.
The Diffbus is completely free and operates every working day between 6 am and 7 pm.
The four lines connect Niederkorn, Fousbann and Oberkorn with the city centre every half hour.
New schedules effective 13 April 2026
Due to construction work in Pétange, the City of Differdange has decided to temporarily adjust the route of the Diffbus 1. The bus will follow its former route in the neighborhood of Route de Pétange and will serve the old stops in this area (route shown in green/stops in orange on the map below).
These measures are scheduled to be in effect from 27 April to 31 July 2026 and are intended to ensure that residents of this neighborhood have access to public transportation during the construction phase.
