Notre quartier en fête—with this concept the City of Differdange supports citizens in organizing neighborhood parties throughout the year in order to promote social cohesion, conviviality and solidarity in a street or neighborhood.

Residents of Differdange can submit a request for a neighborhood party throughout the year, subject to the criteria below.

Nopeschfest

The municipality of Differdange is also a partner of the Nopeschfest organised by the Association Luxembourgeoise des Solidarités de Proximité. Every year at the end of May, the Nopeschfest is celebrated throughout Luxembourg.

Criteria

You are organizing a party in a public space, not in private, between neighbors and for your neighbors
You are inviting neighbors, preferably all in the immediate vicinity
You will respect night-time rest periods
In the case of equipment rental, you will respect the rental regulations
In the case of street or parking lot closure, you will respect the relevant timetables and regulations

Support for citizens

The local administration will support you with:

free posters and invitations, which you can download and use to organize your party
free rental of equipment (tables and benches, garbage cans, barriers)
the temporary closure of a street or parking lot in Differdange, if possible

Request for a neighborhood party

Requests for a neighborhood party must be made at least three weeks before the date of the party by filling in this form.
