Net Zero Cities : Citizen participation in 2025 – mark the dates!

Differdange is continuing its journey as part of the European Net Zero Cities mission with a new round of citizen participation workshops for the year 2025.

These dates, dedicated to building a climate-neutral city by 2030, follow on from efforts throughout 2024, which have seen fruitful discussions and innovative initiatives emerge from our engaged communities.

Over the past year, our citizens actively participated in thematic workshops covering various aspects of urban sustainability, from waste management to mobility, energy and sustainable coexistence. These meetings have generated new ideas and strengthened existing strategies to tackle environmental challenges.

To continue this positive momentum, the city of Differdange is proud to announce the next workshop dates for 2025:

• Saturday 26 April 2025, 9am: workshop on energy.
• Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May 2025: workshops at the Festival des cultures (Festival of Cultures).
• Saturday, 28 June 2025, 9 a.m.: workshop on the topic of mobility.
• Saturday, 15 November 2025, 9 a.m.: workshop on the topic of waste.

We invite all citizens to join us in shaping the future of Differdange. Your participation is crucial to help us define and achieve our environmental goals. Together, thanks to your commitment and creativity, we can turn challenges into opportunities and make Differdange a model of sustainability.
