Declaration of arrival

Any person who establishes his or her habitual residence in Differdange must be registered with the citizens office (Biergeramt). The declaration must be made within 8 days of arrival in the municipality.

It should be noted that third-country nationals must register within 3 working days of their arrival on the territory.

Change of residence in Luxembourg

To be registered in the municipal register of natural persons, the person concerned must present the following documents:

• valid identity card or passport,
• certificate of registration / residence permit
• lease contract / accommodation certificate
• car-registration document (carte grise)
