Subsidy for the sterilization or castration of cats
The city of Differdange has put in place a subsidy for cat owners wishing to have their four-legged companion neutered or spayed. The subsidy amounts to:
- 50 € for the castration of a male
- 70 € for the neutering of a female.
The grant is only for people living in Differdange who own the cat in question.

Make a request on site to our customer service department
You can go to the municipality’s customer service department with the following documents:
- previously paid veterinarian invoice
- bank account number, to which the subsidy can be transferred
- proof that the cat has a subcutaneous microchip (upon presentation of the cat’s passport)
