Lecture on succession law: How to protect your inheritance

Attorney Pierrot Schiltz, who has been working in Luxembourg for 41 years and is a member of the law firm Penning, Schiltz & Wurth, will share his expertise on this subject with you. As a specialist in medical law, employment law, commercial law and real-estate law, Mr. Schiltz will provide a comprehensive overview of the legal requirements for drawing up a will.

A topic that concerns us all

In Luxembourg, every person can freely dispose of their personal assets during their lifetime. They can also regulate the distribution of their assets by will in order to avoid family conflicts or to favor certain beneficiaries. However, this freedom comes with a number of restrictions regarding the form and content of the will.

In this presentation, you will learn about the basic aspects to consider when drawing up a will and the pitfalls you should avoid in order to ensure the validity of your last will and testament.
