Diff Prime – Municipality subsidies for the rational use of energy

The subsidy application must be submitted with the supporting documents no later than six months after receipt of the invoice or, if applicable, six months after receipt of the government subsidy.

Climate bank and housing subsidies (Ëmweltbonus)

Since 1 January 2017, the government has made available new aids for sustainable construction, sustainable renovation and renewable energy.

The new tools include:

  • a new office for housing subsidies located at 11, rue de Hollerich in Luxembourg City
  • “PRIMe House” grants focusing on sustainable housing construction and sustainable energy renovation
  • the „KlimaBank” (climate bank) including the reduced-rate climate loan and the climate loan at 0 interest rate;
  • LENOZ (Lëtzebuerger Nohaltegkeets-Zertifikat fir Wunngebaier), the sustainability certification system for new housing.
