On 8 November 2024, the municipal council of the city of Differdange approved new fees for drinking water and wastewater. The price increase will affect all sectors: households, industry, agriculture and gastronomy.

The new rates will come into effect in July 2025. However, the old rates will still apply to your next water bill, which you will receive at the end of July. This bill will be a half-yearly statement covering the period from January to June 2025. You will receive the first bill with the new rates starting mid-October.
