Hsuan-Chih Lee enjoys painting in her daily life.

As a child, she was fond of drawing, and it always brought her joy. Her painting themes come from ordinary things—familiar, common objects that carry a sense of shared experience and universality. She represents them to convey tranquility and a feeling of timelessness.

Before embracing color, she worked only in pencil, a simple medium that helped her create a fantasy world. When viewers gaze at the figures in her paintings, they can discover rich stories. Sometimes, the figures appear happy, excited, calm, or nervous … all capturing a touch of magic.

Through painting, she brings her imagination to life and hopes others find enjoyment in her work as well.
