Way to school

A- A+

Parents should set a good example when bringing their children to school by respecting the speed limits around schools, using the “Kiss’n Go” zones and parking only in designated areas for the safety of all children. Parents also set an example by using the pedestrian crossings and crossing the street at green lights.

Pedibus

City of Differdange is offering a walking bus for Oberkorn and Differdange-Centre. This means that children will be accompanied on foot to and from school by adult supervisors. Each district has designated stops where children wait for the Pedibus to walk to school in a group and where they are dropped off again after school.

If you would like to register your child, please contact the school department.

If you are interested in becoming a walking bus attendant, you can find more details here.

  • the organisation of school cups in schools ;
  • the ‘Guignol – dem Poli seng Päiff’ initiative run by the Grand-Ducal Police;
  • ‘Kuck a Klick’ courses run by the driver training centre;
  • schools and Maison Relais have been provided with the necessary equipment for their project ‘Cycling at elementary school’, which teaches children to cycle safely.
