The City of Differdange can reimburse you for your child’s sports club membership. if you meet these conditions:

✅ You live in Differdange.
✅ Your child lives with you in Differdange.
✅ Your child is 19 years old or younger.
✅ Your child is enrolled in a sports club or sports association in Differdange.

💶 The City reimburses half the cost of the card, up to a maximum of 100 €.
💶 If you receive the cost-of-living allowance (proof required), the membership card is fully reimbursed.

For example: if the card costs 300 €

• Scenario 1: You receive the cost-of-living allowance → The municipality reimburses you 300 €.Scenario 2: You do not receive the cost-of-living allowance → The municipality reimburses you 100 €.

If you pay for your membership card by bank transfer

1. Complete the online application form and add these documents:

   • Cost-of-living allowance certificate (if applicable)

   • Proof of payment (Avis de débit).

2. The city’s sports department will check your application.

3. You’ll receive an e-mail with the answer (whether you’ll receive the subsidy or not).

If you pay for your membership card in cash

1. Download and print this form.

2. Take the printed form to the sports club and pay for the membership card (ask the club for a stamp on the form as proof of payment).

3. Complete the online application form and add these documents:

• • Cost-of-living allowance certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof of payment (see steps 1 and 2).

2. The city’s sports department will check your application.

3. You’ll receive an e-mail with the answer (whether you’ll receive the subsidy or not).

Please note that from the 2025/26 season, paper applications are no longer accepted.
