In the heart of the picturesque village of Lasauvage, the Auberge An der Schoul opens its doors to you. The Auberge An der Schoul has a capacity of 32 people and has 3 dormitories with 6, 10 and 12 beds and 2 rooms with 2 beds. The hostel also has a professional kitchen and a conference room with a projector.
The building known as the Lasauvage School belongs to the Differdange Town and has been completely renovated to house the hostel. The building also houses the Lasauvage School, the Nature School and the puppet theatre of the Poppespënnchen association.
The hostel is the ideal starting point for all kinds of activities, as it is located in the Minett Park Fond-de-Gras. This open-air museum offers many complementary activities, the main one being iron ore. You can discover an old mine that is now open and can be visited thanks to the Minièresbunn mining train, which today offers an impressive experience when you visit the bottom of the mine.
Then take the Train 1900 which runs between Pétange and Fond-de-Gras. The collection of the Association Train 1900 includes a dozen steam and diesel locomotives and two railcars. The park also offers hiking trails where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the region. You can also attend special events throughout the year. Don’t hesitate to enjoy the gastronomy in one of the restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine and relax after a day of discovery.
