Belvaux Road Construction: Traffic Disruption on September 2 in Oberkorn

Belvaux Road will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM due to crane assembly work. To ensure public safety during this construction, the City of Differdange will implement the following measures.

Road Closures and Detours

Belvaux Road will be blocked at two locations:

100 meters from the intersection with Prince Jean Square (toward Differdange)
Between houses no. 1 through 7 (toward Differdange.

A detour will be established via Prince Jean Square and Pierre Martin Street.

Public Transportation Impact

The Post-Oberkorn bus stop will be temporarily relocated to the Prince Jean Square stop for the duration of the work.

No Parking Zones

Parking will be prohibited:

Across from houses no. 1-7 on Belvaux Road
In front of houses no. 27-29 on Pierre Martin Street

Pedestrian Traffic

Pedestrians must use designated crossings:

Between houses no. 17-19 on Belvaux Road
Near house no. 215 on Charlotte Avenue

The sidewalk will be blocked at the construction site and safety barriers will be installed.
