The European Documentation Center (EDC) is a lively space dedicated to learning about the European Union. Its mission is to make Europe tangible and accessible to everyone—citizens, students, teachers, and local associations.

Information session — European Commission Blue Book Traineeship
Are you interested in gaining professional experience within the European institutions?
Join us for an information session dedicated to Blue Book Traineeship, the European Commission’s internship program.

Projects and priorities for 2025–2026
The EDC proposes:
- Conferences and workshops on European policies
- Events for young people: visits to high schools, interactive workshops
- Collaboration with local schools and associations
- Networking with other European centers for effective communication of information
Objective: to enable people to discover European citizenship and take an active part in it.

The documents are available in the 24 official languages of the EU and adapted to all levels.
The head of the Differdange EDC
Carlos Terán is an architect, urban planner, and linguist with extensive experience in Europe. He has also worked at the European Commission, which has allowed him to become familiar with European Union programs and initiatives, including those related to the EACEA (Education, Audiovisual, and Culture Executive Agency), such as Erasmus+.
Today, he is delighted to assist and support visitors in discovering the opportunities offered by Europe, be it for citizens, students, or teachers.
A polyglot, Carlos is enthusiastic about welcoming and interacting with people in six different languages, while continuing to learn Luxembourgish.
