The festive season is approaching fast. Here are the most important dates for you to mark in your calendar.
On the weekend of 28 to 30 November, the Lanz Bulldog Frënn Déifferdeng organize their traditional Advent Market in Lasauvage. The official opening is scheduled for 28 November at 5 pm.
28 November : 5 pm – 8 pm
29 November : 4 pm – 9 pm
30 November : 3 pm – 7 pm
The official opening of the Differdange Christmas Market is scheduled for 5 December at 6.30 pm on the market square. The Christmas Market will run from 5 December to 21 December from 2 pm to 8 pm. The food stalls will be open from 12 noon! There will be late-night openings on Fridays and Saturdays until 10 pm. The market will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There will be a whole host of concerts – check out the program in our leaflet.
As well as the traditional Christmas stalls, the market will host an artificial ice-skating rink (details in the leaflet), concerts, an après-ski and a merry-go-round.
The Swiss Chalet is open every day (including Mondays and Tuesdays), from 11:30 am – 10 pm, until 21 December. For bookings call T. 691 240 765
Would you like to meet Saint Nicolas? We’ve got good news for you. Saint Nicolas has told us that he’ll be marching through the streets of our city on 6 December starting at 2 pm— from the parking lot Centre-ville through the city center to the market square. He hopes to see many of you there.
The École de Musique de Differdange will hold its traditional Christmas concert on 10 December at 6.30 pm at the Oberkorn church Saint-Étienne. The concert will be followed by a graduation ceremony.
