Kingsley Ogwara is a painter and sculptor of Nigerian origin who has lived and worked in Differdange for many years. He is one of the artists-in-residence hosted by the City, regularly exhibiting at the municipality’s cultural events and participating in workshops and group exhibitions.
His work, situated at the intersection of painting and sculpture, explores profound themes such as transformation, human connection, and belonging. Ogwara’s works are characterized by organic forms rich in texture and compositions that suggest harmonious human masses, inspired by both African and European symbols.
Recognized in Luxembourg and internationally, Kingsley Ogwara has won major awards, including the Pierre Werner Prize from the Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg, and has exhibited in several European countries.
As an artist-in-residence, he contributes to the cultural life of Differdange, offering residents the opportunity to discover a committed and inspiring form of artistic expression.
