Discover the idyllic village of Lasauvage on 24 May between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. under the theme “En Dag op der Zowaasch.”
Visitors can look forward to an old-fashioned fair, guided tours through Lasauvage, museum visits, and rides on the “Minièresbunn.” Children can enjoy workshops and a play area.
The “Kiermessen” are part of our traditions. These folk festivals bring people together through games and fun and are an important aspect of community life.
With classic attractions from days gone by such as the strongman game, can toss, carousel, and Ferris wheel our annual fair aims to celebrate this important tradition and take you back to a bygone era.
All games are free. Entertainment, food, and drinks will also be available.
The official opening, featuring the Hämmelsmarsch, will take place at 10:30 a.m. at Place de Saintignon
The puppet festival “Les Marionnettes Sauvages” takes place from May 19 to 24 and offers free outdoor puppet shows on Pentecost Sunday.
There is an entrance fee for performances at the Poppespënnchen. Tickets are available here.
Spend the day exploring Lasauvage with family and friends.
The museums are open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Guided city tours are available in Luxembourgish (at 11:00 a.m.) and French (at 2:00 p.m.). The mining train is running, and there are workshops and a kids’ corner with games and books for the little ones.
