Gutt Geschier

The tool library was one of the projects selected for last year’s participatory citizens’ budget. It will be implemented in collaboration with the “Gutt Geschier” initiative of Ëmweltberodung Lëtzebuerg and will open on 15 October 2025.

The idea is to give people the opportunity to borrow tools for free, especially tools that are only used occasionally or perhaps only once. The aim is to promote the circular economy, avoid unnecessary purchases and thus unnecessary waste.

The initiative also raises consumer awareness of the need to save energy and resources and to rethink their spending habits.
