Jugendwunnen (Youth housing)

A- A+

The Jugendwunnen service is aimed at young adults aged 18 to 27 who are transitioning to independent and autonomous living and experiencing housing difficulties. The aim of this service is to help them in their transition to stable housing. To be eligible for the service, it is essential to be able to live partially independently, to have a concrete life project (such as training, studies, or employment), and to have an income (such as stay-in-school subsidies, apprenticeship payments, Cedies, or a salary).

Accommodation

A transition to stable housing is essential for young beneficiaries of Jugendwunnen. An individual studio apartment with very low rent is made available to them.

The building, located in Differdange, offers 36 apartments spread over three floors, three of which are accessible to people with reduced mobility and four of which are intended for single-parent families. Each apartment is fully furnished and has a kitchen and bathroom.

Supervision and support

This program is designed for young adults who wish to live independently as part of their life project and are willing to work with supervisory staff to achieve their personal goals. They receive administrative and educational support according to their needs.
