Despite its name, the main goal of this program is not to teach soccer from day one, but to give children their first taste of sports through fun, age-appropriate activities.
The program focuses on developing motor coordination, balance, spatial awareness, agility, and psychomotor skills. The exercises use various teaching aids, such as balls, hoops, cones, and other equipment. Children learn to control their movements using both their hands and feet, while gradually developing their relationship with objects and movement.
The ball is introduced gradually through a variety of games and exercises, which also promote socialization, independence, concentration, and self-confidence.
The name “BabyFoot” was chosen because it is catchy and makes it easier to promote the activity to families. However, the method goes far beyond soccer. The goal is to prepare children to participate in any sport later on, whether it be soccer, basketball, volleyball, handball, or any other discipline.
