The City of Differdange informs residents and road users that Rue de Longwy in Niederkorn will be closed to traffic in both directions near No. 4 on October 3 2026 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.. This closure is necessary to allow for maintenance work being carried out by the Moartplaz II residential complex.

- Dead-end streets at No.4 Rue de Longwy, heading toward Niederkorn-center.
- Rue de Longwy will be marked as closed:
- 11 m into Rue de l’Église, heading toward the center of Niederkorn;
- 400 m from Rue du Kirchberg / CHEM parking lot, heading toward the center of Niederkorn;
- 800 m from Fond-de-Gras, heading toward Niederkorn.
Detours in place
- Toward France: traffic is diverted via Rue Nicolas-Theis and Rue de l’Église.
- Coming from France, heading toward Niederkorn: Traffic is being rerouted via CR176 (Rue de Hussigny), then via Rue Roosevelt and Rue J.-F.-Kennedy.
- Public transportation: Buses are being rerouted according to the notices posted at the stops.
