Run by CIGL Differdange, Okkasiounsbuttik is a social, creative, and sustainable project that breathes new life into secondhand furniture and home decor items. Since 2013, the initiative has helped promote the circular economy while supporting professional reintegration through meaningful and rewarding activities.
In the shop, visitors can discover a selection of secondhand furniture, decorative items, tableware, and upcycled creations, all carefully restored or transformed in the CIGL workshops located at the 1535° Creative Hub. Each piece tells a new story and showcases artisanal craftsmanship focused on reuse and sustainability.
The initiative also offers a pickup service for furniture in good condition, as well as customized renovation and transformation solutions, helping to prevent waste while giving new life to existing items.
Beyond selling furniture, Okkasiounsbuttik is first and foremost a people-centered project that combines environmental sustainability, solidarity, and creativity to serve the local community.
