2027 Festival of Cultures: Call for Artists, Food Stands, and Workshops

On May 22 and 23, 2027, Differdange’s Place du Marché and pedestrian zone will come alive with the Festival of Cultures. The City is launching its call for participation today: artists, organizations, and individuals—join the adventure!

A Musical and Culinary Journey in the Heart of Differdange

The City of Differdange will host its traditional Festival of Cultures on May 22 and 23, 2027, at the Place du Marché, in the pedestrian zone, and in Gerlache Park.

The Festival will delight lovers of musical and culinary journeys: numerous concerts—featuring Afro-Latin rhythms, for example—will set the tone for the weekend, while food stalls will showcase the flavors of many countries.

The Festival is also the perfect place to reconnect with friends or family. The pedestrian zone will feature entertainment, educational and recreational areas, as well as workshops, and more.

Musicians, dancers, singers, bands, or street performers: the Festival of Cultures stage is yours. Whether you’re offering a concert, a performance, or a show, your project has a place in the program.

Deadline: December 1, 2026

Non-profit organizations are invited to run a food stand and introduce visitors to the culinary specialties of their country or region. This is a wonderful opportunity to share, connect, and support the community’s nonprofit sector.

This call is reserved for non-profit organizations (ASBLs).

Deadline: February 1, 2027

Do you lead workshops in cooking, drawing, crafts, games, or any other educational and fun activity? Individuals and organizations can set up a workshop booth in the pedestrian zone and engage participants of all ages.

Deadline: February 1, 2027
