Charlotte Avenue: Temporary Closure at the Railroad Crossing on October 3 and 4, 2026

Due to work being carried out by CFL at railroad crossing PN15, Avenue Charlotte in Differdange will be closed at the railroad crossing from Saturday, October 3, to Sunday, October 4, 2026. Detours are in place for both motor vehicle traffic and the Diffbus.

Traffic and Detours

For the duration of the construction work, the following measures will be in effect:

• Road closed on Avenue Charlotte at the railroad crossing;
• Toward Oberkorn: Traffic coming from Charlotte Avenue will be rerouted near house no. ³⁷ via Montagne Street, Victor-Hugo Street, and Saint-Nicolas Street;
• From Rue de la Montagne: traffic is rerouted via Avenue Charlotte, Rue J.-F.-Kennedy, Rue Émile-Mark, and Boulevard Nicolas-Eickmann.

Charlotte Avenue is marked as a dead-end road:

• 550 m away, near J.-F.-Kennedy Street (2 Charlotte Avenue);
• 470 m away, at the intersection with Rue Saint-Nicolas (16 Charlotte Avenue);
• 334 m away, at the intersection with Rue de la Montagne, toward Oberkorn / railroad crossing.

Diffbus: Route and Stops Changed

The Diffbus coming from Rue de la Montagne is being rerouted via Avenue Charlotte, Rue Émile-Mark, and Boulevard Nicolas-Eickmann.
