The City of Differdange is working to make its public car parks more convenient and to enable contactless payment.
That is why, starting in August, the INDIGO Neo system will be implemented in nearly all of the city’s covered parking garages. This will allow for contactless entry and exit. Thanks to this convenient system, you will no longer need to take a parking ticket. The barrier will open automatically upon entry and exit using license plate recognition, and you will no longer need to go to the pay station. Payment is processed automatically through your INDIGO Neo account. You’ll receive your invoice directly by email as soon as you leave the parking garage. This change is being implemented as part of the European STEER project.
Of course, you’re not required to use Indigo Neo. You can always take a regular parking ticket when you enter the parking garage and pay at the automated pay station. The first hour of parking is still free.
The Department of Living Together plans to organize a training session on how to use the Indigo Neo app.

With the introduction of contactless parking, the Diffcard will be discontinued on August 1, 2026. If you still have a balance on your Diffcard, you can fill out our online form, and the city will credit the remaining amount to your account.
