Due to the installation of a mobile crane, Avenue du Parc-des-Sports in Oberkorn will be closed to traffic on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. A detour will be in place, and parking will be prohibited in the vicinity of the construction site.
A mobile crane will be installed on Avenue du Parc-des-Sports in Oberkorn on October 16, 2026. To ensure the safety of residents and road users, the city council has adopted a temporary emergency traffic regulation.
What’s changing for drivers
Traffic coming from Differdange is being diverted via Avenue Charlotte, Route de Belvaux, Rue des Fours, Rue Prommenschenkel, and Rue Prince-Henri. Please follow the posted signs.
Pedestrians must cross at the crosswalks located at no 98 and across from no 53.
Parking is prohibited (sign C18) in the marked spaces in front of and across from nos. o 55 through 102 on Avenue du Parc-des-Sports. Vehicles in violation may be towed at the owner’s expense.
The City of Differdange thanks residents and road users for their understanding and asks them to allow a little extra time for their trips in the area.
