The City of Differdange is providing ‘No to door-to-door selling’ (Non au colportage) stickers free of charge. You can pick them up at the reception of City Hall during opening hours.
Since April 2014, Luxembourg regulations have changed to comply with European standards. Although door-to-door selling is no longer banned, they are now subject to strict rules designed to protect consumers.
As a resident, you have every right to refuse door-to-door selling. To make your wishes clear, all you have to do is affix a ‘No to door-to-door selling’ (Non au colportage) sticker to your door or doorbell.
Please note that even if you don’t display this sticker, sales representatives must respect your refusal to receive them.
