Theater, photography, illustration, music, and dance: Since September, the Social Impact Development Center (SIDEC) has been offering children and young people ages 4 to 18 a program of creative workshops led by professional artists at the Social Impact Community Hub on Avenue de la Liberté. Activities also continue during school breaks.
Launched over the summer break and running every week since the start of the school year, the Strong Community, Bright Future program invites children, young people, and their families to create, learn, and grow together. Run by the Social Impact Development Center (SIDEC) with the support of the Fondation Sommer, this artistic and educational project has a clear goal: to give every participant the opportunity to explore their creativity, build self-confidence, discover new talents, and forge connections within the community.
The workshops are led by professional artists and facilitators:
Sessions take place on weekdays after school and on select Saturdays, depending on the age group. And good news for families: activities continue during school breaks.
The program is part of SIDEC’s mission as a Differdange-based nonprofit active in education, social inclusion, and community development, and it has made its Community Hub a place of learning and connection open to everyone.
