The City of Differdange is launching Diffmap, an interactive map developed by the Urban Planning Department. This free online tool, accessible to everyone, brings together the practical information residents and visitors need daily.
đ Local Life â quickly locate essential services (banks, hospitals, post offices, pharmaciesâŠ), sports facilities, trails, parks and barbecue areas, museums (with a short description), and playgrounds. For each playground, youâll see at a glance whether parking is available, if there are accessible parking spaces, if dogs are allowed, and if restrooms are accessible.
đČ Mobility â get real-time information on parking locations (paid or free, covered or uncovered, accessible to vans), VĂ«lâOK stations (including the number of regular and electric bikes available), Flex stations, as well as Diffbus routes and their schedules. Additionally, find AC and DC charging stations, their power ratings, and availability.
đïž Urban planning â find addresses, street names, the locations of specific development projects (PAP), the General Development Plan (PAG), and municipal boundaries.
đ Education â locate universities, high schools, elementary schools, and after-school care centers, along with their contact information. Also find school districts and walking bus routes (stops and schedules).
đ€ Smart City â view real-time temperature and humidity readings collected across the municipal area.
Whether youâre looking for an open pharmacy, a place to have a family picnic, or information on an urban development project near you, Diffmap has the answer. The municipality also plans to expand its data offerings in the future.
