The childcare-service voucher (Chèque-service Accueil) is a state contribution towards the cost of childcare for all children aged between 0 and 12 living in Luxembourg. Parents must apply to join the CSA from their local authority of residence, or from the Caisse pour l’avenir des enfants (CAE) if they are employed in Luxembourg but do not live there.

The CSA contract is valid for 12 months. Parents are responsible for renewing their registration before the expiry date.
Adherence to the CSA is handled by our Citizens’ Office (Biergeramt). To sign up for the CSA contract, please fill out our online form below.

If, for reasons beyond their control, applicants are unable to provide any of the above documents, the household’s taxable income may be certified by any other document issued by the employer or any document showing current income (e.g., monthly pay slips).

It is possible to establish a service voucher contract without indicating income. In this case, please note that the cheque-service will be billed at the maximum rate.
The municipal administration reserves the right to request any additional supporting documents.
