Diane Catani will present stories and a theater workshop for children in Cycles 1.1 through 3.1—with croissants and hot chocolate to start the day off right!

Description:
With the help of a magic key, we travel to a magical world. The children meet various characters and puppets who tell them a bilingual story in Luxembourgish and French. They actively participate in the reading of the story. At the end, the children can take on the roles in the story and act it out together in Luxembourgish. Through this fun and engaging experience, children discover the Luxembourgish language. Thanks to this interactive storytelling, they naturally practice the language and expand their vocabulary.

• Workshop 2: Grades 2.2–3.1 | 10:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m..

On the program:

• A brief presentation on Luxembourgish dialects;
• A quiz in teams of up to six people;
  A selection of books on Luxembourgish dialects, available for free browsing on site.

At 7:30 p.m., the day will conclude with a musical performance by the Liewen project (seated).

After enduring years marked by personal and global hardships, Nicole Bausch (Nicool) felt the desire to transform these experiences into a work of art—a kind of musical liberation. Seeking an instrument that was both gentle and subtle to give voice to her feelings, she naturally chose the piano. She then reached out to Luca Sales, a former high school classmate, who had established himself as a pianist after completing his studies in jazz piano in Brussels.

This project was born out of a desire to share the beauty and power of music while addressing important themes in life—ones that are sometimes difficult to put into words. Liewen is a project that combines Nicool’s lyricism with Luca Sales’ compositions—touching, honest, and intimate: the common thread running through the project.
