Will you be away from home for an extended period this summer? Sign up for the free “Départ en vacances” prevention service, and the Grand Ducal Police will keep an eye on your home while you’re away.
The Grand Ducal Police offers a prevention service called “Départ en vacances” throughout the year. Any resident of Luxembourg—and therefore any resident of the City of Differdange—who plans to be away from home for an extended period can sign up for this service.
During your absence, the police will conduct occasional preventive patrols, both day and night, around your home as part of their general surveillance to ensure that everything is in order.
When you sign up, you’ll also designate one or more contact persons. If necessary, this person will serve as the primary point of contact with the police, ensuring quick and effective communication in an emergency.
You can sign up online at MyGuichet.lu—either by yourself or through a third party—before you leave.
