As of the school year 2023/2024, Lycée Privé Emile Metz will have a new site at 51, rue Emile Mark, in Differdange.
The Villa Hadir building, which bears witness to the region’s industrial past, will house the school’s administration. Classes will be held in an adjacent modular building, which will include eight brand-new, fully-equipped classrooms, a lounge, a makerspace and a media library.
School offer in Differdange:
- Technical diploma (DT) in Information Technology (TPIFI), 4 full-time study years at the LPEM in Differdange.
- Vocational aptitude diploma (DAP) as a Cutting machine operator (DPMFI), 3 full-time study years at the LPEM, alternating between Differdange (theory) and Dommeldange (workshops).
- Vocational aptitude diploma (DAP) in Electro-Technologies (DPETI), 3 full-time study years at the LPEM, alternating between Differdange (theory) and Dommeldange (workshops). The first year of the DAP in Electro-Technologies will take place entirely at Differdange, with subsequent years alternating between both sites.
- Integration class for young adults (CLIJA) (preparatory school year for pupils wishing to follow the classes offered by the LPEM in Differdange)
The courses offered at the Differdange site will be taught in English.
In two subsequent phases, school provision in Differdange will be adapted and developed.
